Personality Traits

The trait i had the highest score in was Agreeableness and it means i am cooperative and trusting. I would say that everyone in the group also had a high score in agreeableness because we had no problems at all in our group as far as disputes or with people refusing to do a task assigned to them. For a group porject to be succesful i think it is very important for a majority of the people in the group to have high scores in agreeableness but i also understand the rewards to having a broad selection of personalities in a group.

  1. I only scored moderately on agreeableness; it was my lowest score on the Basic Personality Assessment! I am happy you thought we all scored high in agreeableness because this reflects how well we are working together as a group. The other interesting aspect is, as you pointed out, people who score high in agreeableness are cooperative and trusting and my highest characteristic is conscientiousness which is described as dependable and achievement oriented. These combinations of personality characteristics complement each other really well, which explains our excellent group dynamic. This group assignment demonstrates how people with different personalities can work well together in a group setting to achieve excellent results. It is really interesting to see how the text and assessments are applied to this project through working with others and assessing different personalities in our group. This is valuable knowledge to apply to exploiting our strengths and building on areas for development in the future.
